Rarely Recognized Signs of Pregnancy

Below are some of the early signs of pregnancy that are worth looking at.

  • Changes in the breast

Hormonal changes in early pregnancy can make the breasts feel denser, more sensitive and firmer. Nipples appear more prominent and darker in color with more visible blood vessels on the surface of the breast skin.

  • More frequent urination

Changes during pregnancy also cause most women to want to urinate more often in early pregnancy, especially at night. In the later stages of pregnancy, the urge to urinate is caused more by enlargement of the uterus which presses on the bladder.

  • Feel very tired

Unbearable and often fatigue without cause can be an early symptom of pregnancy. These symptoms can continue especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy. This condition is generally caused by increased levels of progesterone and changes in blood production, heart rate, and body metabolism. Avoid dealing with fatigue by consuming caffeine which can harm the fetus. As much as possible overcome this condition by consuming nutritious food and having enough rest.

  • Nausea and vomiting

Nausea and vomiting will generally only be felt at 6 weeks’ gestation. But these symptoms can also appear earlier. This condition will usually disappear after entering 12-16 weeks of gestation. This situation is more common in the morning due to accumulation of stomach acid during your sleep.
Nausea and vomiting can be prevented by keeping the stomach from being empty. Eat food little by little, but more often. Eating mint or ginger can also relieve symptoms.
